Charlene St. Jean is the owner of Purple Diamond, an advertising agency, social media marketing maven and marketing coaching company which coaches small to mid-size companies on affordable and effective ways to market and advertise their business both on-line and off.  Charlene is a senior level marketing professional skilled in social media marketing, market research, sales promotions, advertising, public relations and special events. She has outstanding ability to envision, plan and implement strategic marketing plans while balancing the needs of individuals, programs and organizational objectives.

Before starting her own agency in 2008, Charlene achieved senior account executive status selling television commercial campaigns in the Boston and New England market and received numerous awards for achievement in her field.  She has also worked on the advertising side for local newspaper, radio, Internet / email marketing and SMS text messaging firms.  Charlene has experienced significant growth with her company in a short time and last year celebrated the nomination for 2012 Business of the Year in the Small Business Category for the City of Beverly.  Her success in business she attributes to using many of the same marketing tips she shares with her clients as their marketing coach.

Charlene serves on the Board of Directors of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the North Shore Business Forum, an appointed member of the Economic Community Development Committee for the City of Beverly, is a member of the Creative Economy, a member of North Shore Women in Business [NSWIB], and a member of the PURPLE DIAMOND SUCCESS NETWORK, THOSE IN MEDIA, THE AD CLUB, E-MARKETING ASSOCIATION and many other groups on LinkedIN and Facebook.

 

 

Jason St. Jean is the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Information Officer of Purple Diamond and partner to Charlene.  His behind the scene efforts and expertise in technology and systems and trends in the marketing technology field offer Purple Diamond and its clients the tools and assistance needed to achieve success. Jason is insightful and intuitive into information technology. What other professionals struggle to grasp, Jason is quick to respond and offers a “can-do” attitude that inspires the growth of the business. He is proficient and maintains a deep knowledge of IT Solutions and Tools which helps Purple Diamond and their clients to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of new trends in marketing.  Jay received his education from Herzing College in Canada and started as a Technical Support Analyst and Programmer for a large magazine publisher in Toronto, Brunico Communications.  He left Canada in 2006 when he came to Boston to marry his wife, Charlene, and work for an award-winning wind energy technology company, Second Wind, as their Information Technology Support Specialist for six years. He currently works full-time as a System Engineer for Lionbridge Technologies.  Lionbridge Technologies, based in Waltham, MA.,  is in over 26 countries and provides translation, online marketing, global content management and application testing solutions that ensure global brand consistency, local relevancy and technical usability across all touch points of the global customer lifecycle.
